Wilder's Steakhouse – Premier Joplin Steakhouse with Elegant Ambiance and Top-Quality Steaks

In town for a work trip and we decided to go to Wilder’s for supper. It did not disappoint, the building itself is full of character. The service was great, Dominic did great and provided amazing service. Had the ribeye and it was cooked to my liking and seasoned well. And the truffle Mac and cheese was delicious. Would recommend and I will definitely make it back.

Everything was great, the only comment is to remind servers that if there is a meeting in one of the rooms, they need to remember to close the door when a speaker is talking. Had to get up 4 times to close the door because it was loud outside the room and couldn't hear the speaker. Besides that food drinks atmosphere was amazing

The best steakhouse in the area. Classy, clean, and delicious. Everything we had was savory, well seasoned, and full of flavor. The Wilders Mignons were cooked as requested. Our waitress was courteous and professional. The restaurant is dim and set for a romantic setting. Nice bar with large selection. Highly satisfied. Highly recommend.

Excellent steak house! Took the girlfriend here in September and it was amazing. Steaks are top notch and sides were very good as well. The bacon app is something for sure to try! Our server was extremely kind and was always checking on us. Is it pricey, yes, but any top steak house is! Elegant and cozy atmosphere made it great for a romantic dinner!

Great service! and the Kansas City strip with baked potato was delicious! So was the wedge salad to start off with.

Genuinely the best restaurant in Joplin. The quality and service are standard at the price point. Choices cover surf and turf with elk to choose from and a nicely stocked bar. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The staff are responsive and knowledgeable. 5/5 would recommend.

Being from KC we are fortunate to have some pretty incredible steakhouses and I can honestly say I think Wilder’s competes with all of them. I loved the atmosphere and the food was absolutely incredible. Honestly may have been the best steak I’ve ever had, we had the KC Strip, and the flavor was unreal. The Brussel Sprouts were definitely the best we had ever had and the Mac N Cheese was also incredible. The Crab Dip to start was also delicious. Can’t speak highly enough about Wilder’s and can’t wait to be back!

I love a great steakhouse and Wilder's did not disappoint. We went for the first time for my birthday dinner. I was quite impressed. We tried a fancy cocktail (normally a beer guy) and it was very good. Our fantastic waitress, Grace, recommended it and we were very pleased. We had the bacon appetizer ... wow! Three slabs of super thick cut bacon done three ways. I've never had horseradish as an accompaniment to bacon but will from now on! We had steak for the main entrée, as one should at a steakhouse. Birthday boy had the beefmaster and loving wife had the filet poivre. Both cooked to perfection and absolutely delightful. I had the onion rings as my side ... what a treat! Make sure you try these! On the down-side, I wish they hadn't run out of elk, maybe next time.
